Melody white

Melody White, teacher and author of “Owen’s Adventures,” lives in Weatherford, Texas with her family of humans (a husband and a son), dogs Reggie and Nelson, and, of course, a cat (Ellie). The story of Owen was inspired years ago by Ellie’s brother, Owen, who was a very special cat— one who truly loved adventure, and who was dearly loved by his best human friend, a little boy named Gabe. Sometimes our animals can’t be with us any more, and in his sorrow, Gabe was comforted with the thought that Owen was probably in space. Owen has not been to space yet in his adventures, but it is definitely on his list of places to go!
